Klaviyo is seeking engineers to design, build, and maintain a real-time data analytics platform on AWS. As part of the Data Platform team, you will translate requirements into scalable data systems, write robust code, and help shape our data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language.
• Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tool.
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud environment.
• Proficient with Linux OS.
• Experience with OLTP/OLAP databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and teamwork.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mission-critical data and analytics infrastructure.
• Write high-quality code for large-scale systems and production operations.
• Create technical design documents and orchestrate system infrastructure.
• Review teammates' designs and code, and provide mentorship across the team.
