Job summary

NAVEX Global is seeking a Data Senior Staff Software Engineer to influence data platform design and lead data engineering efforts within our hybrid work model in the United States. You will mentor engineers, drive high-quality data solutions, and explore new value-added capabilities across the platform.

You will build scalable data pipelines, work with Snowflake and Redshift, and partner with product managers to deliver impactful data assets while balancing life priorities in a collaborative

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with 6+ years in data engineering.
• Expert knowledge of data management, pipelines, and standards.
• Experience with ELT/ETL, data quality, cleansing, and profiling using DBT.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of data engineers and be accountable for designs and high-quality deliveries as an individual contributor.
• Help team members grow by mentoring newer engineers.
• Participate in the innovative advancements of our product platform and collaborate with agile team members.
• Promote opportunities for refactoring and identify areas of optimization.
• Research and leverage commercial products, libraries, and tools to solve problems.
• Participate in design sessions with engineers, architects, and product managers, providing constructive feedback during sprint retrospectives.
• Use automation, including CI, deployments, and automated testing.
