Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the DGX Cloud Navigator data platform. You will transform distributed telemetry and operational data into reliable, governed data products, and own ingestion, transformation, and serving paths.

You will work across security, observability, and self-service consumption to ensure a dependable source of truth for fleet health and operational decisions. Strong Python/SQL skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software, data platforms, backend infrastructure, databases, or distributed systems.
• Strong software-engineering fundamentals and production proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with distributed data processing using Spark or equivalent, and relational/analytical databases at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own data platform end-to-end from needs through architecture, implementation, deployment, observability and support.
• Construct data pipelines for batch and streaming ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and serving paths.
• Build shared libraries, tooling, and patterns to improve speed and safety.
• Engineer reliable distributed workloads and diagnose performance issues across systems.
• Incorporate security, least privilege, secrets management, and access controls into the build.
• Improve quality with automated tests, data quality checks, lineage, and alerting.
• Deliver trusted data through well-modeled tables, APIs, and dashboards.
• Lead reviews, mentor engineers, and advance architecture and testing practices.
