Job summary

Peraton is seeking a data engineer to build, test, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines, turning raw and synthetic data into governed, analysis-ready data products. You will contribute to Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines, apply data governance and access-control practices, and collaborate closely with the engineering and data science teams.

US citizenship with T5/SSBI clearance is required, along with 4 years building production data pipelines using Python and SQL, and

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a T5/SSBI clearance.
• 4 years building production data pipelines with strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) and version control/CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline code that turns raw and synthetic data into governed, analysis-ready data products.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines, and apply data governance and access-control practices.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team and support the data science and ML team.
