Galaxy Digital Inc. is seeking a seasoned data/platform engineer to build and operate production data platforms. You will own pipelines, monitoring, and dataops practices, with a focus on reliability and scalable infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes.

You’ll work with Kafka, Databricks/Spark, dbt, and Airflow to transform data and support cross-team analytics and product initiatives. Strong coding in Python or Java is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years building data or platform engineering systems in production.
• Strong coding skills in Python or Java.
• Experience operating production data platforms on AWS and supporting downstream teams.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience running Kafka in event-driven systems.
• Working knowledge of Databricks/Spark, dbt, and Airflow.
• Solid grasp of data modeling and databases (Postgres, SQL Server).
• Comfortable with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and observability tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain tooling and infrastructure enabling data pipelines.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and dataops practices for scale.
• Operate Kafka as the message broker for cross-team events.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure components with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Run high-throughput processing on Databricks/Spark and cloud services on AWS.
• Support dbt for transformations and Airflow for orchestration.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and infrastructure teams on platform improvements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive fixes.
• Champion AI adoption to improve team performance and outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and decision-making.
