Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead data engineering and data architecture initiatives across multi‑phase client engagements. You will define data strategy, guide delivery teams, and ensure solutions align with client goals, governance, and security requirements.

You will mentor teams, shape our analytics practice, and contribute to reusable assets in a hybrid environment with travel and office flexibility across multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree or higher in data science or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years in data architecture/engineering or digital consulting with leadership of complex client engagements.
• Strong SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and architectural communications with clients and stakeholders at executive levels.
• Define data analytics architecture strategy and advise on delivery teams and engagements.
• Design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms and advanced analytics solutions.
