Bloomreach is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Pipeline team. This role is remote-first (working from Europe) with optional meetups in Bratislava, Brno or Prague.

You will design and implement a high-throughput data pipeline using Python, Go, MongoDB, GCP, and more, including exporting data to BigQuery via DataFlow, PySpark, and Beam. Emphasis on code quality and scalable systems.

Formación

• Experience with Python and strong software engineering practices.
• Go experience is a big plus.
• ETL pipelines at scale with SQL/NoSQL sources.
• Comfort in remote-first environments.
• Willing to learn new tech and navigate a large codebase.
• Stack includes Python, Go, Kafka, Kubernetes, GCP, DataFlow, PySpark, Beam, BigQuery, Mongo, Redis.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a data pipeline to process large data volumes.
• Improve throughput and reliability of imports/exports to BigQuery.
• Review peers' code; maintain high code quality.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Tackle self-contained projects before moving to larger systems.
