Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Team Lead for Data Operations to guide a remote team of 50+ freelancers, shaping data generation pipelines, processes, and automation. You will design workflows, remove blockers, and deliver operational metrics while keeping the team engaged in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will partner with engineering to build tooling, drive AI-enabled improvements, and own KPI performance, with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people leadership experience with mentoring and scaling high-performing teams.
• Proven hands-on knowledge in business process design, management and optimization to drive efficiency and quality.
• 3-5 years of dedicated operational or data-driven experience to complement leadership background.
• Ability to work remotely and thrive in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a remote team of 50+ freelancers to deliver data generation pipelines.
• Own the team’s KPIs, drive performance, and uphold a high standard for quality and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to elevate data operations and process quality.
• Identify opportunities and drive AI-enabled solutions within operational workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering to build tooling and scale process automation.
• Identify and escalate risks early to ensure smooth, reliable operations.
