StepStone Group is seeking a SPAR Data Monitoring Senior Analyst to support client deliverables, reconcile NAVs, and analyze asset-level metrics within a fast-paced private markets data environment. You will mentor junior analysts and collaborate with leadership to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication with Client Service, Accounting, and Investor Relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in private markets preferred.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to SPAR private markets data universe (Cashflows; NAV Reconciliations; Asset Level & Portfolio Company Metrics).
• Review input from junior analysts and support client deliverables.
• Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
• Identify data issues and escalate to appropriate teams; support firmwide relations and client services efforts.
