Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data modeling; retail experience preferred.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of data architectures such as data warehouse, data lake, and data mesh.
• Experience with data modeling software such as SqlDBM, Erwin, DbSchema, ER/Studio.
• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP, BigQuery, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design/Develop/Maintain data models (conceptual, logical, physical) for applications and analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to deliver initiatives.
• Contribute to large-scale data pipelines and SDLC processes.
• Recommend improvements to data workflows, architecture, security, and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers in data modeling techniques.
