Job summary

Nike MAC BI is seeking an experienced data modeller to design unified athlete profiles by harmonising wearable device streams and coach inputs. You will shape the data foundations for AI-powered coaching and dashboards across Nike's Activity and Converse businesses.

Lead data contracts, semantic models, and transformation paths from vendor schemas to Gold-layer consumption, partnering with engineers and analysts globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of data modelling experience across analytical and operational data systems, with large-scale platform design.
• Expertise in dimensional modelling, Data Vault, or medallion architectures with trade-off reasoning.
• Experience in multi-source data harmonisation and building unified data representations.
• Advanced SQL and data profiling skills with source-to-target mapping experience.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and analytics teams to produce buildable models.

Responsibilities

• Design the unified athlete profile data model aggregating wearable device streams into a single representation.
• Model coaching intelligence data layer for AI Coaching Engine integration.
• Define NSRL-to-athlete data models for sport science constructs.
• Own the medallion layer design and data contracts for downstream consumers.
• Produce complete Source-to-Target Mappings for all Activity data sources.
• Resolve multi-vendor schema conflicts and define rules for overlapping metrics.
• Create data contracts, API schemas, and versioning strategies for product teams and tools.
• Model race and sport experience data structures for training plans and post-race analysis.
