Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale data models powering analytics, AI, knowledge platforms across multiple domains.

You will translate complex business domains into scalable conceptual, logical, and physical data models, establish modeling standards, and collaborate with engineering, governance, and AI teams to ensure data is organized for scalability, interoperability, and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data modeling, information architecture, or enterprise data architecture.
• Hands-on experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale enterprises.
• Strong SQL and database design expertise.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple domains.
• Create scalable models supporting transactional systems, analytics, and AI workloads.
• Develop canonical data models, business information models, and semantic layers for consistent enterprise understanding.
• Drive standardization of entities, relationships, taxonomies, and definitions across the organization.
• Collaborate with data engineers to implement dimensional, normalized, and domain-oriented models.
• Support data product development and data mesh architectures.
