Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Migration Engineer to drive mission-critical data modernization for a DoW customer. You will lead complex migrations, ensure data integrity, and design repeatable, auditable processes in a federal setting.

Role requires advanced SQL, hands-on ETL or Python, and experience with migration tools in AWS GovCloud. Remote, full-time with 0–10% travel in the DC area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and production data migrations.
• Advanced SQL expertise with PostgreSQL and at least one commercial relational database.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools or Python for data transformation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead large-scale data migrations between enterprise systems with profiling, mapping, transformation and reconciliation.
• Design and build auditable migration pipelines with validation reporting and rollback capabilities.
• Execute trial migrations, resolve data-quality issues with data owners, and support production cutover.
• Document data lineage, migration methodologies, and audit-related decisions.
