Job summary

CDP in Boston seeks a Senior Data Marketing Solution Analyst, a senior data role focused on building scalable marketing data models and automations. You will work with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and BI tools to deliver data-driven marketing insights for the MSB cooperative, AAP, and Partner Services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability working with large data sets to build audience segmentation and scoring for omni-channel campaigns.
• Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries beyond prewritten scripts; proficient with views and data structures.
• Experience writing and maintaining Python scripts for data file handling and automation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into query logic and data outputs with clear documentation.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate marketing strategy and audience requirements into reusable SQL code and Snowflake components.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows for data preparation, QA, file generation, and analysis.
• Design validation, monitoring, alerts, and recovery procedures for automated processes.
• Define data requirements, business rules, success measures, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Manage data projects from discovery through implementation with clear plans and milestones.
• Explore datasets, identify relevant tables/fields, and determine data source relationships.
• Evaluate query logic for accuracy and performance; troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Improve performance by optimizing filters, joins, and calculations; escalate platform issues.
• Document data sources, definitions, and decisions for reuse and review.
• Communicate findings, risks, and limitations to marketing, operations, and tech partners.
