Job summary

Astrion is looking for a Principal Data Links and Communications Engineer located at Hanscom AFB, MA. This full-time role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and offers a salary range of $140-$155,000 annually based on experience. Candidates should have a Master's or Doctorate and at least 20 years of experience in the relevant field, including 12 in the Department of Defense.

The Engineer will work on network-enabled weapon systems and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include documenting specifications and interfacing with federal agencies.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• 20 years experience with a Master's or Doctorate, 12 years in DoD; or 25 years with a Bachelor's, 15 years in DoD.
• Knowledge in development, integration, testing, and deployment of Air Force systems.

Responsibilities

• Support defining specifications for network-enabled weapon systems.
• Interface with DoD and federal agencies for data link compliance.
• Provide technical advice on Command, Control and Communications (C3) issues.
• Support developing Joint Concept of Employment (CONEMP) for tactical data exchange.
