Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a hands-on Senior Java & Data Engineer to lead modernization of a large-scale application and cloud migration. The role centers on Java/Spring Boot REST APIs and Python-based ETL/data pipelines deployed on AWS, with strong backend and data-processing focus.

The ideal candidate will design scalable microservices, implement API-first architecture, and contribute to CI/CD, testing, security, and production readiness in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• We expect strong backend engineering and data-processing experience for cloud-native development.
• Candidates should design scalable REST APIs and backend services with a API-first mindset.
• Experience building Python-based ETL/data pipelines and working with Databricks is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build modular microservices following API-first architecture and CI/CD practices.
• Develop Python-based ETL and data pipelines in Databricks and integrate with AWS.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Write unit/integration tests and ensure security, performance, and maintainability.
