Job summary

Abarca Health LLC is seeking a Data Integration Manager to act as primary SME for client data exchange, ensuring seamless integration between client systems and internal platforms. You will own data quality, define controls, and lead workshops to convert needs into requirements and implementations.

The role combines data architecture, ETL, SQL development, and strong client communication to deliver accurate data movement, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement across healthcare data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in a quantitative/analytical field; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in healthcare data integration, PBM data exchange, or related roles.
• Proven SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with dashboarding tools or Python for data analysis.
• Willingness to support on-call rotations and time-critical deliverables.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in time zones aligned with client needs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client data exchange lifecycle from discovery to optimization.
• Define and monitor data quality standards across completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Lead client workshops to elicit requirements and translate to user stories.
• Design source-to-target mappings with transformation rules and error handling.
• Build and monitor controls and SLA dashboards; remediate risks proactively.
• Serve as primary client-facing owner for data integration performance.
• Provide strategic risk/value guidance to clients.
• Apply product delivery and change-management frameworks for integrations.
• Author and optimize SQL for data validation and anomaly detection.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on releases and enablement.
• Forecast delivery progress, risks, and dependencies; report transparently.
• Mentor teammates on standards and operational excellence.
