Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a Data & Integration Specialist to join the Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team. You will act as a strategic architectural partner across MuleSoft, Tableau, and Data 360 to solve complex government data challenges.

As a DIS, you will own holistic discovery, reframe the data journey, and design AI-ready architectures delivering actionable insights from disparate silos, bridging legacy systems to modern mission outcomes.

Qualifications

CS degree or equivalent.
Architectural mindset for scalable, secure designs in public sector environments.
Deep knowledge of Integration (MuleSoft), Tableau, and Data 360; expertise in at least two.
Ability to translate technical challenges into business value for government executives and stakeholders.
Understanding of AI readiness including trusted context foundations, RAG, and metadata intelligence.
Collaborate with Account Executives to drive sales strategy and data discovery from day one.
7+ years in Solution Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or Digital Transformation.
Experience with databases, Java, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the discovery process and architect multi-product data solutions for government agencies.
Lead architectural workshops and Stand & Deliver sessions to demonstrate value.
Deploy scalable data architectures that unify citizen data and enable real-time dashboards.
Mentor account teams and partners on Data + Integration as the foundation for AI.
