Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance the data ingestion platform for Autonomous Vehicles Infrastructure. You will build and optimize pipelines from diverse sources, ensure reliable AV data flow, and enable real-time and batch serving across teams.

This role emphasizes distributed systems, data quality, and collaboration with the AV development team to improve data-driven solutions. Requires 8+ years in autonomous vehicles or software infrastructure, strong Go/C++ and Linux

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in autonomous vehicles and/or software infrastructure.
• Strong background in distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with large-scale data ingestion and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, Python or Matlab in Linux.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Hadoop, Spark and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources.
• Design data serving mechanisms for real-time and batch use.
• Monitor pipelines and resolve issues to ensure data availability.
• Collaborate to improve processing efficiency and reduce latency.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity.
