First Tech Federal Credit Union seeks a Vice President, Data Governance to provide enterprise leadership and independent second-line oversight of data governance risk. You will establish frameworks, standards, and risk practices to promote effective governance of data and support reliable data for regulatory and strategic decision-making.

You will partner with business, technology, analytics, privacy, compliance, and risk leaders to strengthen governance and deliver executive insights on data

Formación

• Extensive experience in independent second-line data governance oversight and risk assessment.
• Proven leadership of senior professionals in matrixed organizations with strong communication.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, data risk, quality, lineage, metadata, and controls.
• Familiarity with financial-services regulatory expectations related to data governance and privacy.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the enterprise second-line data governance risk program with standards and reporting.
• Provide independent oversight of data governance activities including data ownership and quality.
• Establish methods to identify, monitor, and escalate material data risks.
• Lead risk assessments and identify systemic themes and control gaps across the organization.
• Define expectations for governance of data supporting regulatory and financial reporting.
• Develop enterprise data risk metrics, KRIs, and executive reporting for visibility.
• Challenge significant data governance issues and oversee remediation plans.
• Collaborate with ERM, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Audit for integrated oversight.
