Job summary

Tiger Analytics is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead delivery workstreams within a large-scale enterprise Data Governance, Architecture & Controls Program. You will shape data lineage, ADS onboarding, and controls, coordinating with enterprise architecture to evolve taxonomy and framework design.

You will conduct SME interviews, translate policy into delivery plans, and manage a small team of analysts, serving as a bridge among engineering, architecture, and data office

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Architecture, ideally in financial services.
• Strong grounding in data modeling and data architecture – conceptual/logical modeling, domain-driven design, and Analytical Data Store (ADS) patterns.
• Hands-on experience with data lineage (fine- and coarse-grained), data quality frameworks, and the design and implementation of data controls.
• Ability to interpret and operationalize enterprise data management policy.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred) sufficient to plan, scope, and oversee build and deployment work.
• Strong executive presence – comfortable leading SME interviews and presenting to VP+ stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work across engineering, architecture, and business teams as a connector and translator.

Responsibilities

• Lead pods focused on data lineage documentation from ADS to system of origin and controls.
• Shape data modeling and architecture decisions with enterprise architecture to evolve taxonomy.
• Conduct SME interviews and translate policy into actionable delivery plans; manage a small analytics team.
• Bridge between engineering, enterprise architecture, and data office stakeholders; present findings to senior client leadership.
• Define repeatable playbooks, templates, and frameworks for ADS onboarding and lineage harvesting for consistency.
• Collaborate with EA and Tooling teams to evaluate and drive adoption of data governance platforms.
• Establish, monitor, and report KPIs and metrics for lineage coverage, ADS compliance, and data quality.
