Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Systems Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join the Phantom Works Network Centric Operations team in Berkeley, Missouri (St. Louis, MO area).

The Data Fusion Software Engineer will develop algorithms using Kalman filters and Bayesian reasoning, while collaborating with software architects to move prototypes into production. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree, 2+ years in sensor fusion, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship).
• 2+ years' experience with sensors, fusion, datalinks, or related interactions.
• 2+ years' experience with data fusion engines and Kalman filters.
• Experience with pattern recognition and sensor data fusion visualization.

Responsibilities

• Derive and quantify data fusion algorithms (Kalman Filters, Bayesian Networks, etc.).
• Author and maintain technical docs for data fusion algorithms.
• Analyze data fusion techniques for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Develop prototype algorithms (C++, Python, Matlab).
• Collaborate with software architects to implement algorithms efficiently.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with customers on requirements development.
