Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Staff Data Fabric Architect to lead design and implementation of data fabric solutions focused on customer experiences. You will shape scalable architectures, ensure security and performance, and guide engineers across CSCX initiatives.

As a technical leader, you will define standards, mentor teams, manage data sources across on‑premise and cloud, and collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risk and maximize data value for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Data Architecture.
• Proven data fabric design using virtualization and cataloging tools.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and evangelize the data fabric architecture strategy and roadmap for customer-centric data initiatives across CSCX.
• Collaborate with product management, implementation leads, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust and scalable data fabric solutions.
• Develop and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across customer data assets.
• Drive the integration of diverse data sources (on-premise, cloud, third-party) into a unified data fabric, enabling seamless data access and consumption for various applications and users.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, architects, and development teams on data fabric principles, design patterns, and implementation strategies.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks, including security, privacy, and compliance challenges, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data fabric, data management, and customer experience domains.
• Document data fabric architecture, designs, and processes comprehensively for knowledge sharing and future reference.
