Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a seasoned Senior Staff Data Fabric Architect to lead design and implementation of data fabric solutions focused on customer experiences. This role shapes scalable, secure data architectures for critical customer-facing applications and analytics.

The candidate will drive architecture standards, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and mentor teams while addressing security, privacy, and compliance considerations in an aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associate degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Architecture
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data fabric solutions using technologies such as data virtualization, data cataloging, and metadata management tools

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and evangelize the data fabric architecture strategy and roadmap for customer-centric data initiatives across CSCX.
• Collaborate with product management, implementation leads, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust and scalable data fabric solutions.
• Develop and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across customer data assets.
• Drive the integration of diverse data sources (on-premise, cloud, third-party) into a unified data fabric, enabling seamless data access and consumption for various applications and users.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, architects, and development teams on data fabric principles, design patterns, and implementation strategies.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks, including security, privacy, and compliance challenges, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data fabric, data management, and customer experience domains.
• Document data fabric architecture, designs, and processes comprehensively for knowledge sharing and future reference
