Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior data architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions enabling unified, automated access to distributed data across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.

You will integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging, and automated data integration into a connected data layer for analytics and AI, while shaping reference architectures and governance to scale across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• Minimum 6 years designing data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, automated data integration).
• Minimum 5 years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• Minimum 4 years of experience with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata & lineage tooling.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with API and streaming architectures.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; if Associate’s Degree, 6+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified, intelligent access to distributed data across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging, and automated data integration into a connected data layer for analytics and AI.
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance that scale enterprise-wide.
• Enable data products and self-service with real-time delivery through the fabric.
• Apply data mesh and data product operating models; leverage cloud platforms and streaming architectures to solve client problems.
• Advise client architects and leaders as a trusted advisor on data modernization pursuits.
