Job summary

Chronograph in New York seeks a technically fluent, systems-minded product leader to own the data extraction layer across private capital documents. You will guide OCR, layout-aware models, and vision-language/LLM approaches, ensuring accuracy across thousands of formats and connecting capability to market demand.

You’ll partner with engineering and AI teams to specify extraction logic, own the human review layer, and drive end-to-end product delivery, shaping Chronograph’s roadmap and client

Qualifications

• Senior leader who has owned VLM- and LLM-native extraction tools from inception to launch.
• Deep fluency in the full set of extraction methods: OCR, layout-aware models, and vision-language/LLM extraction.
• Experience building eval-driven decision frameworks to maintain accuracy at scale.
• Ability to spec extraction logic for engineers and defend trade-offs to the team.
• Strong instincts for product systems from end-to-end extraction through human review to downstream workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with senior leadership, clients, and engineering teams.
• An AI-native mindset with experience prototyping platforms and agentic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the data extraction roadmap across the full range of documents private capital markets use.
• Set direction across OCR, layout-aware models, and vision-language/LLM approaches, choosing methods per document type.
• Design the end-to-end extraction pipeline, including the human review layer and downstream reporting workflows.
• Spec extraction logic for engineers and engage with ML/AI teams on implementation trade-offs.
• Set and defend the accuracy bar as document volume and variety grow.
• Connect capability to client demand by aligning roadmap with business needs and market trends.
• Be a leader driving innovation in agentic extraction and document intelligence for Chronograph.
