Job summary

Torq in the United States is seeking senior data engineers and leaders to shape data platforms that power client decisions, from ingestion to analytics. You will build scalable pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide projects across cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP), focusing on data governance, quality, and performance.

Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite; you’ll influence strategic data outcomes across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and data modeling.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per-week onsite).
• Data acquisition & sourcing: APIs, flat files, event streams
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, schema design, and data lifecycle management.
• Proficient in SQL and creating optimized queries for large datasets.
• Experience with CI/CD for data solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data models and dashboards for consumption by data consumers.
• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality data pipelines from ingestion to analytics.
• Lead data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions.
