Job summary

Hormel Foods is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Supply Chain to lead the Data Engineering team focused on building trusted data assets and scalable pipelines powering planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and transportation across the enterprise.

You will leverage GCP, BigQuery, Airflow, Incorta, and semantic layer tools to modernize our data ecosystem and support critical business capabilities. A relocation package is offered if needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or modern data platforms.
• Experience with SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data solutions.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain data and business processes.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Airflow, Incorta, and semantic layer technologies such as AtScale, Cube, or Oracle Analytics Server preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Data Engineering team.
• Build and support data solutions across modern cloud and legacy data platforms.
• Deliver curated data assets, data pipelines, dimensional models, and semantic models that enable enterprise analytics and decision-making.
• Partner with Supply Chain stakeholders, Data Products & Solutions teams, and enterprise technology teams to deliver business value.
• Drive modernization initiatives and engineering best practices across the Supply Chain data domain.
