Job summary

The company.co is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Paris to own production data pipelines and the reporting stack. You’ll work with ClickHouse, Cube, Kafka and Iceberg to ensure low-latency, scalable data models that power the advertiser dashboards.

You’ll ship schema changes across petabyte-scale tables, diagnose issues end-to-end, and collaborate with engineers to turn new product features into production data models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production data engineering with on-call ownership.
• Strong SQL and scalable schema design for high-volume data.
• Experience with Dagster/Airflow and dbt or equivalent transformation framework.

Responsibilities

• Ship schema changes across petabyte-scale tables without breaking downstream reporting.
• Improve reporting stack latency and cost; optimize ClickHouse and Cube.
• Turn new product features into production data models end-to-end from Kafka/Iceberg to UI.
• Trace discrepancies through the stack to source system and fix root causes.
• Proactively catch scaling and data-quality issues before they impact customers.
