Job summary

Eightelevengroup in a remote role is seeking a Senior Developer / Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines on a BigQuery medallion architecture, ingesting data from on-prem and cloud sources using GCP tools, including Dataflow, Dataform, and Terraform.

You will write complex SQL, deploy Terraform modules, and collaborate with leads to establish standards and CI/CD practices while ensuring governance with Google Knowledge Catalog.

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on SQL development and data validation are required.
• Hands-on Terraform experience in a GCP environment is essential.
• Production experience with Dataflow and/or Dataform for pipelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines within the BigQuery medallion architecture.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries for large-scale data transformation and validation.
• Build and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure to support pipeline deployment.
• Ingest data from on-prem and cloud sources using Dataflow/Dataform and GCP tools.
• Collaborate with leads on pipeline standards, testing, and CI/CD automation.
• Ensure data governance and cataloging through Google Knowledge Catalog (Dataplex).
