Hunter Industries in San Marcos, CA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data systems and pipelines that enable data-driven decision making. You will lead data integration across on‑prem and cloud sources (Snowflake, Oracle Fusion) and collaborate with analytics teams to empower Power BI reporting, AI/ML use cases, and governance across the data lake.

The role offers hybrid work (3 days in office) at our campus and requires residing within commuting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field; master's preferred.
• Minimum five years in data engineering and integration.
• Experience with Snowflake and Power BI as primary analytics layer.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes data pipelines for ingestion and delivery.
• Integrates data from Oracle Fusion and cloud/app sources into Snowflake.
• Implements data cleansing, quality controls, and governance.
• Mentors junior engineers and shares knowledge across teams.
• Collaborates with data scientists and stakeholders on AI/ML use cases.
