Job summary

VSG Business Solutions LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions supporting HR and analytics. You will collaborate with business analysts, lead data engineers, and HR on site to deliver robust data pipelines, improve data quality, and enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

The role requires expert SQL, data modeling, and experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SQL, data engineering, and data modeling.
• Experience building data warehouses, data lakes, and lake house environments.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (min 2 years).
• Leads full-lifecycle data engineering or reporting initiatives.
• Designs ingestion patterns for files, APIs, databases and streaming sources.
• Builds and operates reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrated datasets.
• Uses CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment practices for data solutions.
• Proficient in Python for data engineering automation.
• Works independently with strong prioritization and problem solving.
• Communicates clearly with technical and business partners.
• Applies encryption, anonymization, masking, and access-aware design for data security.
• Understands modern data architectures: warehouse, lake, lake house, cloud.
