Job summary

Synopsys in the United States is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve scalable data and analytics solutions across our modern data ecosystem. You will work across the full analytics lifecycle, building data pipelines and semantic models, and delivering dashboards that enable data-driven decisions using Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data products.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data solutions across ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting.
• Develop and support scalable data pipelines using Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt.
• Build and optimize semantic models within Power BI for trusted reporting.
• Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and DAX measures translating business needs into insights.
• Ensure data quality, scalability, and performance across data and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to support best practices in data architecture.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and reporting solutions.
