Job summary

Age of Learning, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Analytics team. You will shape the architecture and long-term direction of our data platform, building reliable, scalable systems that power decision-making across the company.

Work with data analysts, product managers, designers, and engineers, mentor teammates, ensure data quality, implement dbt and Snowflake pipelines, and contribute to internal AI tooling to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, owning systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable data warehouse on Snowflake with clean models and documentation.
• Implement and manage data transformation with dbt for reliable pipelines.
• Develop and evolve data models, semantic layers, and metrics across the organization.
• Own data quality, observability, and testing for downstream accuracy.
• Build and evolve internal AI tooling to improve data team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with analysts, product engineers, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Mentor teammates and promote learning, rigor, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and propose solutions for operational issues.
