Job summary

Cape Cod Five is seeking a Data Engineer III to scale our data ecosystem, including a Snowflake medallion architecture, to power enterprise reporting and self-service across Finance and Risk.

You will build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from core banking systems, define data governance, and develop a semantic layer for trusted, performance-driven insights. Collaboration with FP&A and IT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Design: Design and develop Snowflake-native data systems and architecture, including medallion architecture.
• Pipeline Engineering: Build ETL/ELT pipelines for loads into Snowflake using Matillion, Snowpipe, dbt, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables.
• Master Data & Governance: Define, build, and manage customer data solutions with match & merge, survivorship, householding, and entity relationships.
• Semantic Layer: Lead the design, development of enterprise semantic layer for reporting.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Snowflake warehouse utilization and SQL queries.
