Job summary

BlueCloud Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and own data solutions built on Snowflake Data Cloud. You will lead scalable pipelines, establish robust data models, and enforce governance and security across the platform.

You will architect pipelines with SQL, Python, dbt, and cloud-native tools, while collaborating across multiple cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and leading orchestration with Airflow or dbt Cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Deep Snowflake expertise, including performance optimization and security.
• Strong SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Experience designing and building ELT/ETL pipelines across batch, incremental, and CDC.
• Familiarity with Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or Lakehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable data pipelines and ingestion processes using SQL, Python, dbt, and cloud-native tools.
• Architect and implement ELT/ETL patterns across batch, incremental, and CDC pipelines.
• Lead the development of data models using Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or Lakehouse approaches.
• Define and implement data transformation logic, data quality validations, and business rules.
