The Role: Senior Data Engineer, Snowflake

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up or redesigning existing data architecture to support the next generation of products and data initiatives.

This position does not require travel. It is a remote position & can be based in any US location within the Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture,
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 6+ years of advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and familiarity with various databases.
• 3+ years of experience developing data modernization projects on Snowflake or similar platforms
• Strong experience with AWS Data Analytics stack - EMR, Redshift, Kinesis/managed Kafka, Glue
• SQL Knowledge

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience:

• Experience with Azure and GCP data stacks
• Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau, Qlik, or similar
• Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience developing data pipelines on Spark
