Job summary

NTT DATA Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data engineering applications and pipelines.

You will work across teams to deploy production-grade data solutions using Java, Python, Kubernetes, and AWS, while ensuring security and reliability. You will develop data ingestion, transformation, and delivery capabilities, manage CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code efforts with OpenTofu and Terraform.

Qualifications

• 1+ years OpenTofu and 4+ years Terraform or equivalent IaC
• 4+ years Kubernetes
• 4+ years Java development (Java11+ preferred)
• 4+ years Git-based source control (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• 4+ years building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable data engineering applications and pipelines
• Develop production-quality Java and Python data solutions
• Deploy and troubleshoot containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Define and implement IaC with OpenTofu and Terraform
• Develop cloud data solutions on AWS with security best practices
• Monitor data flows and observability tooling (NiFi, Prometheus)
• Produce clear technical documentation and designs
