WhiteWaterExpress is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions turning complex business data into actionable insights. You will own critical data infrastructure, pipelines, integrations, and warehouse solutions that support operations, analytics, and company-wide growth.

You’ll collaborate with Data Analysts, tech teams, and leadership to build reliable systems, improve data accessibility, and solve cross-functional challenges in a growing multi-location

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Deep understanding of database management, SQL optimization, data analytics, and data warehousing.
• Experience with PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and C#; familiarity with Laravel, Express.js, or WordPress.
• Cloud platforms knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure); API design and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT, and related tools.
• Build and manage data integrations and APIs across business systems.
• Optimize Snowflake, MySQL, and SQL Server databases and data models.
• Orchestrate and monitor workflows using Airflow or similar platforms.
• Integrate data from on-site systems, cloud apps, and third-party platforms.
• Provide data quality, security, access controls, and governance practices.
