Job summary

TRM Labs is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Product team. You will design and build mission-critical data services that analyze blockchain activity at petabyte scale to power TRM's products.

Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to create scalable data models, pipelines, and workflows. Requires deep hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and modern data processing tech.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting scalable API development and distributed systems.
Strong Python skills and proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL.
Experience with big data stores and modern data tooling.

Responsibilities

Design and build mission-critical data services for petabyte-scale blockchain analytics.
Develop scalable data models and architectures to support sub-second query latency.
Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to implement data models.
Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Airflow, DBT, and related tools.
Contribute to scalable data processing with Spark, Kafka, and Flink; deploy and monitor cloud infrastructure.
