Providence is seeking an Experienced Senior Data Engineer to contribute to the evolution of our enterprise data platform strategy, architecture, governance, and modernization initiatives.

The role focuses on defining data standards, maturing the Snowflake platform, establishing metadata practices, and migrating legacy data assets into a scalable, governed data ecosystem to support analytics, reporting, AI, and data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, information services, or equivalent.
• 5 years of related experience; software development preferred.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python.
• Experience with Git and source control.
• SQL/NoSQL integration experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira.
• Healthcare setting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
