Hunter Industries is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data systems and pipelines that empower data-driven decision making. You will lead data initiatives, ensure governance, and partner with analytics teams to enable AI/ML use cases.

The role is remote, requiring Pacific time business hours. You will work with Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Power BI, and cloud storage to deliver scalable, secure data solutions across the enterprise.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related quantitative field required or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree or advanced training in data engineering, cloud platforms, or analytics preferred.

Mansioni

• Designs, develops, and optimizes data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data across enterprise platforms.
• Integrates data from Oracle Fusion (ERP/EPM), on-premises databases, and cloud apps into Snowflake.
• Applies data cleansing, validation, and quality controls to ensure accuracy and trust in enterprise data.
• Monitors and tunes pipelines for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implements governance, security, and compliance aligned with enterprise standards.
• Collaborates with architects, analysts, and data scientists to support Power BI analytics, AI/ML, and self-service use cases.
• Provides leadership by guiding best practices in pipeline design and system optimization.
• Mentors junior engineers and shares knowledge across Data & Analytics team.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and practices to strengthen enterprise data capabilities.
• Partners with business stakeholders to translate use cases into practical, sustainable solutions.
