About The Role
Data is vital for serving our customers and streamlining operations. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and manage our data infrastructure, building modern data and machine learning platforms using Snowflake and AWS to enable data-driven decisions.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Bolingbrook, IL)
Type: Full-Time, Exempt

What You Will Do

1. Influence the technical roadmap and architecture for effective data utilization.
2. Select tools, technologies, and practices for managing data at scale.
3. Develop ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from various sources into our data warehouse.
4. Manage and optimize existing ETL/ELT pipelines.
5. Partner with business teams to understand data needs and prioritize development.
6. Design and prototype solutions in Snowflake and AWS for complex queries.
7. Ensure robust data management practices.
8. Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams on project priorities.
9. Participate in design and code reviews.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and DataOps.
• Expertise in Snowflake; SnowPro certification preferred.
• Experience with AWS for large data processing.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Proficiency in production-quality coding and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with platforms like Matillion, Fivetran, or Airflow.
• Experience using APIs for data extraction in production.
• Commitment to engineering best practices and mentoring.
