GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service platform, seeks a Senior Data Engineer for remote work, based in Latin America, available to collaborate with global clients.

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Databricks, write SQL and Python for data processing, and develop Power BI dashboards while adopting DevOps practices for analytics projects.

This one-year project offers remote work with potential extension based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis.
• Hands-on Databricks experience and cloud services familiarity required.
• Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards for business insight.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and data management principles.
• Experience with Spark SQL and ERP data exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD in data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions in Databricks.
• Write and optimize SQL (including Spark SQL) and Python code for data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams on data analytics projects.
• Apply DevOps practices and CI/CD methods to data workflows.
• Build and support Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Contribute to data governance and data management standards.
• Engage in day-to-day hands-on technical work, not only design.
