Cortex, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of internal data systems and pipelines. You'll manage the ingestion, transformation, and warehousing of data that powers company reporting.

Collaborating with GTM operations is essential to ensure tools are built on accurate data models. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of data engineering experience, skills in dbt and BigQuery, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience building and owning production pipelines.
• Strong SQL and proficiency in a general-purpose language (e.g. Python).
• Solid data modeling judgment with a focus on data quality, testing, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines end to end - ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and reporting.
• Audit and map existing data systems before rebuilding for a single source of truth.
• Build and maintain dbt models and transformation logic with documentation.
