What you’ll be able to do:

As a Senior Data Engineer in the Data Platforms and Analytics Team, you will collaborate with architects, product managers, and feature teams to develop core platform components supporting data creation, pipelining, and telemetry consumption. Your responsibilities include designing, coding, testing data pipelines and models, and managing production processes such as deployment and health monitoring.

In this position, you will:

• Work within an agile team to deliver tested, functional software
• Design and implement new features requiring real-time constraints and scalable solutions
• Provide architectural guidance and manage cross-team integration
• Write high-quality, secure, and maintainable code
• Participate in designing new features and ensure seamless real-time technology integration
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams
• Lead greenfield and R&D projects, embracing experimentation
• Investigate and integrate new technologies and workloads, working with stakeholders
• Participate in live-site activities
• Onboard and train new engineers

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years working on Big Data and data pipelines
• 3+ years experience with high-performance programming languages (e.g., GoLang, Java, C++, Python)
• 3+ years experience with big data technologies like Azure Data Lake, GCP BigQuery, Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases

Our preferred requirements:

• Master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Passion for designing ETL pipelines
• Expertise in building Data Lakes and data warehouses
• Experience with software configuration management, DevOps, CI/CD
• Knowledge of software operations, security, governance, and data quality
• Advanced BI dashboard skills
• Experience in enterprise data warehouse design and implementation
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI tools is a plus
• Business domain expertise in sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, or HR
