Job summary

BitGo seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize our data platform and reporting infrastructure in a hands-on, fast-paced environment in New York City. You will work across data engineering, product, and security teams to enable scalable, reliable data-driven products.

You will develop and maintain data pipelines, implement ETL processes, and contribute to real-time analytics, data governance, and tooling that empowers stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in CS or equivalent.
• 6+ years combined Software & Data Engineering experience.
• Strong server-side experience with TS/Node.JS and Python.
• Strong experience with SQL databases (Postgres/MySQL).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and data pipelines/ETL.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for internal systems.
• Integrate external data sources to enrich the data platform.
• Build applications supporting customer-facing products and internal systems.
• Enhance BitGo’s data reporting infrastructure and reconciliation systems.
• Ensure data quality and auditability across pipelines.
• Optimize data systems for near real-time insights.
• Develop self-service data tooling for consumers.
