BitGo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering team in NYC, building and scaling a data platform and reporting infrastructure for data-driven products.

The ideal candidate blends software engineering and data engineering to move and transform data efficiently, collaborating with engineers, analysts, data scientists, product managers, and security experts across domains.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of combined Software Engineering AND Data Engineering work experience.
• Strong experience with server-side languages like TypeScript/Node.JS/Python.
• Strong experience with SQL databases like Postgres or MySQL.
• Strong experience with RESTful API design.
• Experience building data pipelines/ETL and familiarity with design principles.
• Experience with data warehouse technologies and modeling (Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, Presto, Druid).
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines from internal systems.
• Integrate external data sources to enrich the data platform.
• Develop apps supporting customer-facing products and internal systems.
• Enhance and expand blockchain reporting infrastructure and reconciliation systems.
• Ensure high data quality and auditability across pipelines.
• Optimize data systems for near real-time processing and insights.
• Develop self-service tools for data consumers to extract and analyze data.
• Research and prototype new technologies to improve data engineering.
