Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to drive enterprise-scale data platforms. You will lead design, development, and delivery of complex data solutions, mentoring teams and ensuring interfaces are robust and testable.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, coordinating with deployment and support teams, and delivering both real-time and batch integrations within a secure Jenkins/CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of data delivery/integration experience.
• Experience with large-scale analytical platforms and distributed processing.
• Cloud-native data platforms and object storage experience.
• Hands-on Scala, Spark, Kafka Streaming.
• Knowledge of Hadoop components, Starburst, and Oracle SQL tuning.
• Experience with real-time, near real-time, and batch data integration.

Responsibilities

• Assembles large, complex data sets meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintains, cleans, and manipulates large data for operational and analytics systems.
• Defines and builds data pipelines to enable data-informed decision making and release processes.
• Mentors Data Engineers and guides CI/CD adoption.
• Leads multiple projects concurrently with competing deadlines.
