Job summary

Graham Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer proficient in Python and SQL to design and deploy scalable ETL solutions in a cloud environment. The role emphasizes data pipelines, database design, and strong Agile collaboration across teams.

The candidate will work remotely with a preference for the Dayton, OH or Washington, DC metro area. AWS-based data processing and documentation are key components of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Advanced or expert-level experience in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and Amazon S3.
• Database design, schema development, and data modeling experience.
• Troubleshooting data quality, integration, and performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python and SQL.
• Implement cloud-based data solutions with AWS services.
• Design database schemas, tables, and data models with best practices.
• Create and maintain technical docs, data flow diagrams, and procedures.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and support delivery with Jira.
